From T.

Oscar, your blog is utterly wonderful. This subject matter completely fascinates me but at times is a little over my head. So let me ask you this: Are you saying that when you die your "soul" is not reincarnated but basically becomes part of the universe and that it is your physical body that is reincarnated? And if so, what happens if your body is cremated and not buried?

T

Dear T: Your query becomes the first entry on Dr. Om's blog. Your questions are excellent. The answers I have found are from the Kabbalah., as follow: The highest part of the soul becomes dissolved in the world soul, thereby becoming a part of God. The middle part of the soul retains identity and ascends into the blissful presence of God for eternity. which is commonly called heaven. This middle part achieves immortality along with all of the other blessed. The lowest part of the soul remains in the graveyard or, put another way, is literally bound to earth. A ghost is of this lowest part, as are demons and monsters. The Golem is an ancient Judaic anthropomorphic monster, which, according to legend, can be called forth by reciting the first three words of Genesis. The Kabbalah makes no provision for reincarnation, as Hinduism does. Whether buried or burned, the physical body returns its chemical constituents to the earth where each elemental chemical has the capacity to become, in part, a part of new life. The chemicals in the water my mother drank and the food she ate while I was in her womb, became the constituents of my body, which I shall pass on. Please question further if you so wish. OM

Addendum: Dr. Om must point out that his blog deals with the occult, legend, mythology, and the paranormal. As for personal belief his reference must be to the Apostles' Creed.

Regarde' your questions, especially note the references to resurrection of the body: "He [Jesus] arose from the dead," and all of the last stanza. These tenets, Dr. Om accepts as a matter of faith. As a clairvoyant and mythologist he is interested in all that the world ofthought, intuition, and imagination has to offer.

THE APOSTLES' CREED

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:

Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;

He descended into hell.

On the third day He arose again from the dead;

He ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost;
the holy Catholic Church;
the communion of saints; (all of the blessed in heaven)
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting.

Amen.

I hope that this addendum further answers your questions. OM

  1. Hi Oscar!

    I agree, your blog is wonderful! And your wisdom and vast knowledge on many topics are truly amazing. I really feel it is a gift to have met you.

    I have always found the paranormal fascinating and have had several experiences all throughout my life. Most I can deal with but there is one phenomena that happens to me and I have yet to meet someone else who has this happen, much less heard of it.

    Prior to a friend or loved one passing on, I always hear three knocks. It always feels like a warning or "heads up" to be prepared and without fail (it could be immediately or months away) but the inevitable happens and there is a passing.

    I have dealt with poltergeist, demon in my childhood, haunting, even witnessed a possible possession. The knocking bothers me the most. Where do you think it comes from? And why?

  2. Dear Landa:

    I, too, feel the gift of our having met through the air, which is no coincidence and no accident, at these junctures in our lives.

    The manifestation of your premonitions, the three knocks, is not peculiar to you. Recall the knocking responses at seance. I know that you are an adept at the Oui Ja board. The next time you are so summoned, turn to the board for assistance in communicating with your spirit guide. You might be for warned of a loss to come. The for warning might be painful to you, or might arrive in time for you to do something that will prevent the loss. Life has its risks. Only you can decide how and when to take a risk.

    Do no fear that you will summon evil. Only evil will summon evil. Your benevolence and your magick will protect you.

    If I do not respond immediately when you question, it is because I must wait until the time is right. I must wait for the words to come to me. From where, I do not know, but the words are good words.

    Blessings and infinite love,
    Om

  3. Hi Oscar,

    Thank you so much for responding back to my question. You know, I had never thought to consult the Ouija for further explanation when I hear the knocks. I definitely will give it a try next time (and I hope its a long time in the future) I hear the knocks. Your words are so hopeful and comforting in that I might possibly have the chance to change the outcome. When I first heard the knocks, it was three knocks times three. And within a month I had a good friend pass, my Uncle a few weeks later and my son was in a horrific automobile accident and was pronounced dead at the scene. If it hadn't been for a paramedic that detected a faint heartbeat (he has almost bled out) he would not be here today. He was in a coma for 5 months, hospitalized for 1 1/2 years, they gave a prognosis of brain damage but today he is fine (a little short term memory) and he is wheelchair bound but he is a living miracle and a total joy to be around. Technically he passed but came back.

    The last time I heard the knocks my Aunt Rose passed but it was a blessing in her case. In the future, well, it will always scare me but maybe it won't have to be as ominous and maybe there will be time to change the outcome.

    Thanks again dear friend,
    Landa
